Weird Al to announce Bonnaroo 2013 lineup LIVE

Today Bonnaroo made the announcement that the legendary comedy musician Weird Al Yankovic would be revealing the Bonnaroo 2013 lineup LIVE on YouTube.  While no official date was mentioned, it has been confirmed through a radio promoter that the lineup is set to drop on Tuesday, February 12th.  If that date holds true, we will have our lineup in less than two weeks.  Unlike other major festivals, the promoters of Bonnaroo are always looking for fun and weird ways to make announcements.  As most might remember, the 2010 lineup was announced via MySpace as an all day event, releasing one name at a time.  According to SPIN Magazine, this years LIVE event is set to last 3 hours and will be streamed on Bonnaroo’s 365 YouTube channel.

It’s yet to be confirmed whether or not Bonnaroo has recruited Weird Al to also make an appearance at this years festival, but it would not come as a surprise.
